Women in the Lead: The Future of Entrepreneurship
Talent is everywhere, opportunity is not. In the midst of a pandemic that is disproportionately affecting Black businesses, female founders and entrepreneurs of color, the need to expand opportunities for underrepresented founders is more pressing than ever. Tech pioneer and investor Jean Case joins Tech Inclusion for a conversation on the state of entrepreneurship today, sharing a first-person account of her work to ignite the inclusive entrepreneurship movement and bringing together a panel of dynamic founders from across the country who have changed the narrative about who can and should be an entrepreneur. Hear the stories of fearless entrepreneurs who are navigating the unique challenges facing our economy and society, closing the opportunity gap, scaling creative solutions to persistent global problems, and changing the way we do business. There is a tremendous opportunity to seize by expanding access to capital by investing in women and entrepreneurs of color and Case sets forward a clarion call for all to join in on building an inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem that would give everyone an equal chance at unlocking the American Dream.
